128KB SRAM (source)

Is the protocol DataTAC or POCSAG?

This slide says it uses DataTAC:

DataTac is an open standard for point to point wireless data communications, similar to Mobitex. … One of the early DataTac devices was the the Newton Messaging Card, a two-way pager card connected to a PC card using the DataTax network. (source, slide 43)

This Patent filing indicates it uses POCSAG (5648990):

Such an embodiment is implemented by Motorola’s NewsCard.TM. PCMCIA accessory which receives, processes and stores POCSAG messages,…

However, I can can personally CONFIRM it is a POCSAG device because rpitx can transmit data to it using POCSAG at 1200 baud.
